Julian Maxwell Hayter, professor of leadership studies, wrote the epilogue for the book The Buried Cause: Unearthing Hidden History in the Lee Monument Cornerstone, edited by Katherine Ridgway, Christina Keyser Vida, and Elizabeth Moore and published by University of Virginia Press.
