Web of Inquiry proposals due Jan. 23, 5 p.m.
January 20, 2026
The spring Web of Inquiry proposal deadline is Friday, Jan. 23, at 5 p.m.
- Instructors may propose first-year seminars, second language proficiency, or courses with up to two area attributes.
- FYS (taught only in fall semesters) and courses in written communication and quantitative data literacy are particularly welcome. Enhanced development options for these are available (with stipends).
- Don't forget to add integrated focus area attributes to courses in your major.
- Consider proposing a general education seminar, which may combine any two integrated focus areas.
- Field of study proposals for courses with corresponding areas of inquiry are also due on this date.
Proposals can be submitted via Coursedog using department/program credentials. Syllabi must list the learning outcomes for each proposed area. See the Faculty Resources webpages for more information.
Chairs and coordinators: Please check Coursedog regularly to approve submitted courses prior to the 5 p.m. deadline.
