Web of Inquiry proposals due Sept. 11 at 5 p.m.

September 3, 2026

The fall Web of Inquiry proposal deadline is Friday, Sept. 11, at 5 p.m.

Instructors may propose First-Year Seminars, second-language proficiency, or courses with up to two area attributes. FYS and courses in written communication, PEIC, and quantitative data literacy (especially in the arts and humanities) are particularly welcome.

  • Don't forget to add integrated focus area attributes to courses in your major.
  • Consider proposing a general education seminar, which may combine two integrated focus areas.
  • Field of study proposals for courses with corresponding areas of inquiry are also due on this date.
  • Chairs and coordinators: Please check Coursedog to approve submitted courses prior to the 5 p.m. deadline.
Proposals can be submitted via Coursedog using your department/program credentials. Syllabi must list the learning outcomes for each proposed area. Submitted materials must also include a Generative AI policy. See the faculty resources site for more information.
