Peart co-publishes article on the importance of approval in Adam Smith's "The Wealth of Nations"

Sandra Peart, dean of the Jepson School of Leadership Studies and E. Claiborne Robins Distinguished Professor in Leadership Studies, co-published with David Levy, George Mason University economics professor, "The Importance of Approbation in The Wealth of Nations" in The Independent Review. The article examines the role approval plays in friendships, choices in employment or profession, the setting of wages, and competition among religious sects.
