An anonymous six-figure gift launched a new endowed faculty position in honor of Oliver Hill.
The 2027–30 faculty and staff parking permits are now available. Current permits expire Aug. 31.
To obtain a permit, please complete the vehicle registration form. You may register up to three vehicles. Please know the license plate number, make, model, and color of each vehicle before completing the form. You can pick up the permit from our office or have it mailed to your campus department.
Parking Services will assist with removing old parking permits from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during June in the Special Programs Building side parking lot.
If you have a dependent taking classes in the fall, please have them register their vehicle during the student vehicle registration process in July.

The Office for Sustainability is accepting applicants for the role of Faculty Fellow in Sustainability for the 2026–27 academic year.
The Faculty Fellow will support efforts toward the integration of sustainability across the curriculum. This position will provide leadership in a variety of areas, helping UR achieve goals outlined in the Sustainability Plan. The Office for Sustainability will manage this position.
The fellowship runs from August 10, 2026, through May 31, 2027. The Faculty Fellow will be compensated $5,000 per semester ($10,000 total) for the fall and spring semesters.
Tenure-track and non-tenure-track faculty housed within the School of Arts & Sciences, Jepson School of Leadership Studies, and Robins School of Business are eligible to apply. Applicants must obtain support from their chair or supervisor before the fellowship begins.
To express interest in this role, please submit a brief letter outlining your interest and qualifications to sustainability@richmond.edu by June 15, 2026.
